Pink Pattern Enamel Drop Earrings

Description

Beautiful rich pink enamel earrings finished with a pretty floral and dragonfly pattern.  The two oval enamel pieces are connected with silver rings and mounted on handmade silver ear wires. The silver used in these earrings is 100% recycled. The earrings are enamel on Copper with the reverse of the piece showing the polished copper.

As the earrings are completely handmade they are truly unique.

Super pretty the earrings that will enhance any outfit and add a splash of colour.

Size: length 30mm, width approx. 8.5mm at widest point, overall length from top of ear wire 46mm.

How the were made: Copper is used to make the shape of the earrings, and once they are cut out, using a jeweller’s saw, they are cleaned and prepared ready for the powdered glass to be applied. Using a kiln and temperatures up to 800 degrees Celsius the powdered glass is fused to the copper to produce the vitreous enamel finish. Several layers are applied and fused to get the colour and pattern desired. The reverse of the earrings have been left uncovered and polished to allow the beauty of the copper to show. The earrings are suspended from handmade sterling silver ear wires.
