Large Blue and Red Patterned Enamel Drop Earrings

Description

Beautiful shades of blue with highlights of red enamel decorate these large drop earrings. The earrings are enamel on Copper and the ear wires are handmade from sterling silver.

As the earrings are completely handmade they are truly unique.

Striking earrings that will set off any outfit.

Size: length 38mm, width approx. 34mm at widest point, overall length from top of ear wire 52mm.

Copper is used to make the shape of the earrings, and once they are cut out, using a jeweller’s saw, they are cleaned and prepared ready for the powdered glass to be applied. Using a kiln and temperatures up to 800 degrees Celsius the powdered glass is fused to the copper to produce the vitreous enamel finish. Several layers are applied and fused to get the colour and pattern desired. The reverse of the earrings have been enamelled in a toning blue colour. The earrings are suspended from handmade silver ear wires.

Ready to dispatch in 1-3days wrapped in tissue and packed in a box tied with a ribbon.
